How do you feel about the traffic measures in Marcon Place/Wayland Avenue, as described above?

Positive

Public transport capacity post-lockdown remains much lower than before the pandemic and 70% of households in Hackney do not own a car. To what extent do you agree or disagree with our aspiration to rebuild a greener Hackney by encouraging more walking and cycling, and preventing car-use returning to pre-lockdown levels or above?

For residents of Wayland Avenue the School Street parking regulations on Sigdon Rd make it very difficult for any visitors to residents on Wayland Ave. to find any available parking space on weekdays. I would like to see a voucher system (much like regular parking vouchers) enabled for cars on the street that would enable parking there.

Hackney, Please do take a more considered view on West-East routes. Richmond Road should be re-opened: both at the bridge over the Railway nr Kingsland Rd and past the top of London Fields. Both with significant traffic-calming measures. It is not a rat-run. Closing this route leads to problems on Graham Rd and at Dalston Junction. Thanks! P.s. totally agree with another comment regarding urgent need to sort Pembury Circus.

This is one of the few sensible road closures in Hackney Borough. Makes these roads much safer. Opening Richmond Road again would make everyone’s life easier as Dalston Lane is now way too busy , as is Graham Road
