We've lived in Clissold Crescent for 20 years and the closure to through car traffic has been far and away the best thing for the road and improved quality of life here during that time. Speeding cars are vastly down in numbers (although not gone altogether) and seeing and hearing families with children cycling to school is a simply fantastic thing that will be beneficial for generations, if the measures are retained. A step back to the old ways would be a kick in the teeth to those children.
